Throughout the pandemic we have all had to find new ways of keeping in touch with friends and family. Many of us have relied our smart phones and other devices to do this digitally. However, many people we support are digitally excluded and as an organisation we wanted to do something to assist the people we support to overcome some of these digital barriers and applied for Connecting Scotland funding.
We are delighted, therefore, to share that our applications for iPads and mobile internet connections for people we support in North Lanarkshire, Highland, Dumfries & Galloway, Glasgow, Falkirk, Argyll & Bute, Renfrewshire and Inverclyde were successful. The funding will will provide 52 iPads and 47 mobile internet connections.
