Getting active at the Albion Club!
Working in partnership with TAG (The Advisory Group) we organised a wellbeing event with a range of taster sessions that enabled people we support to try out some new activities. It was an action-packed day with a little bit of something for everyone.
We were grateful for the support of Police Scotland and Fire and Rescue Scotland who brought along info stands and spent time speaking to people about improving their personal and fire safety at home and in the community. Plus with the help of Disability Fustal Club, Sudakshina Kundu from Tarang Dance Academy and Barbara Boyd from Chair Based Movement people were able to try out some new ways of keeping fit and active. This included Disability Futsal, Kathak Dance, which is a classical Indian dance form, and Chair Aerobics. It was huge fun and everyone there really got into the spirit of the opportunities on offer.
