Support Workers and Relief Support Workers
On a day to day basis we support people with a range of support needs, including; personal care, taking care of their home and finances, as well as developing and maintaining full and active participation in their community.
You will have a positive attitude; a commitment to an individualised approach and to making a real difference to the lives of the people we support; whilst understanding and adhering to the SSSC Codes of Practice and National Health and Social Care Standards.
You must be prepared to work flexibly as part of a small team to meet the needs of the people we support. This will include working in the evenings and weekends as well overnight, (sleepovers and waking nights), when required.
Experience of working with people with disabilities although desirable, is not essential as full training and ‘on the job’ support will be provided. Key provides excellent professional supervision, support and training, alongside a range of benefits, including access to the SVQ Framework.
If you would like to get involved in support work but cannot commit to a contract, then there are opportunities to join our register of relief workers who provide support at times based on their availability.
